Crannsoft

Crannsoft was born more than two decades ago from the initiative of a group of technology enthusiasts, initially focused on developing solutions for Palm devices.

That technological experience soon evolved towards the creation of video games with a social purpose and reach, giving rise to a distinctive approach to development: combining innovation, accessibility and new forms of interaction to create experiences capable of reaching diverse audiences.

Over the years, the professionals and creators associated with Crannsoft followed different paths. Some continued developing video games, technologies and related projects, while others moved into different fields. Today, part of that knowledge and accumulated experience is coming together again at Crannsoft.

Crannsoft thus returns as a meeting point for that entire journey. Under a single identity, the company brings together its legacy, technology, creators and developers, carrying more than twenty years of experience forward into the creation of new video games and new experiences.

Crannsoft is also responsible for the development and evolution of VCS —Vis Caeca Soni—, a proprietary technology conceived to create virtual environments that can be navigated through sound and to help ensure that orientation and spatial understanding do not depend exclusively on vision.

VCS is one of Crannsoft's most valuable technological assets and is incorporated into many of its video games, but it neither defines nor limits the company's output. Crannsoft also develops titles and experiences that do not use this technology, applying to each project the tools and solutions that best serve its goals.

For more than two decades, VCS has evolved through different video games and projects, incorporating proprietary systems for orientation, spatial representation and auditory adaptation. Its development continues today within Crannsoft, while the company also works on new video games, technologies and forms of interaction.

This new stage is not a fresh start, but the continuation of a journey. Crannsoft brings together its experience, technology and design philosophy to carry them into the future under a single identity.
